Which visit is yours? For your parents, yourself, your kids.

For your child's visits

One goes. Both know.

Usually only one parent can go. Whoever goes asks the doctor, records, and sends the other the summary. Next visit, you know what was said last time.

For your own visits

The questions you meant to ask.

Write your questions before the visit. They stay on your screen while it records, a list you can glance at. Afterwards you read back what the doctor said.

For a parent you care for

Whoever goes can send it to you.

Your mother says all is fine. You want the whole story, even when you cannot go. She or whoever goes with her asks her doctor and records on their own phone. Then they send you the summary. Now you know what was said.

In the room, it all seems clear. At home, the questions start.

International studies show: 40 to 80% of what the doctor says is forgotten almost immediately. And nearly half of what is remembered, is remembered wrong.

What happens to my data?

Your data is yours. You sign up with just your email: no password, no name. A summary reaches someone else only when you send it yourself. Delete any recording, or your whole account, in the app.

Am I allowed to record the visit?

Under Brazilian law it is not a crime to record a conversation you are part of (Lei 9.296/1996, art. 10-A, §1º). Before you record, the app shows you the words to say: "May I record our conversation for my personal notes?" Recording starts only after you confirm the doctor agreed. The doctor can say no. Then you write the visit in your own words and still get a summary. This is information, not legal advice.

How much does it cost?

Nothing. HealthPod will be free for families in Brazil. No card, no subscription, no hidden paid tier.

Who is behind HealthPod?

A team of Brazilian and German researchers. The core technology is developed at the University of Hamburg, at the Institute for Computational Systems Biology, with Prof. Dr. Jan Baumbach. HealthPod is already live in Germany, under German data protection standards, and is now coming to Brazil.

HealthPod does not give medical advice. It organizes and explains what your doctor said; your doctor is always the one who advises. Every summary sits next to its recording, so you can check any line.
